For the past five years, I’ve been dedicated to bringing stories to life through thoughtful, imaginative scenic design. I thrive on the creative challenge of shaping environments that support and elevate the narrative—no matter the budget, vision, venue, or production style. Whether collaborating with a large team or working independently, I bring flexibility, resourcefulness, and passion to every project.

Designing is only half the story—I find just as much joy in the building process. With extensive experience in woodworking and a deep familiarity with power tools, I take pride in constructing sets that are not only visually compelling but also safe, functional, and durable. My hands-on approach allows me to bring designs to life with precision and care, ensuring that every structure supports the storytelling on stage.

Whether I’m hand-painting wallpaper with a custom stencil or using dry-brushing techniques to transform raw surfaces into rich, wood-like finishes, I approach each detail with intention and care. These artistic flourishes create texture, depth, and realism—enhancing the world of the play and drawing audiences deeper into the story.

While scenic design is my primary focus, my experience extends across multiple areas of technical theatre. I have hands-on expertise in lighting, technical drafting, and metalwork, including welding, which allows me to bring a holistic understanding to each production and all of my designs. My diverse skill set supports a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach in the shop and on stage. I'm also deeply passionate about arts education and love mentoring students in the world of technical theatre—helping the next generation of designers and technicians grow in both confidence and craft.
